University of ICA Bangladesh has been established for the promotion of literature, Fine Arts, Science, Computing & Technology etc. and also for the diffusion of useful knowledge. It has been started on the basis of the society registration ACT XX1 of 1860 under a department of Ministry of Commerce and Affiliated with the different institution of India, Japan & Canada. University of ICA Bangladesh was registered & accepted by the Government of Bangladesh under society registration ACT 1860 from a department of Ministry of Commerce firstly in the name of Institute of Computer Administration bearing registration no. S-10826/10 of 1996. As per resolution on 06.01.2010, it has changed into University of ICA Bangladesh. This University of ICA Bangladesh is running under society registration ACT from 1990 and it is also affiliated by Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Technical Education Board Code: 50742.
